What Fabric Can I Use

Any fabric you wish! You can either choose from our fabric ranges ,or if you’ve fallen in love with that perfect fabric already just let us know - you can send this to us or we can get it for you.

Roman Blind Tracks

There are two options - You can either choose from a manual track, which is included in our make up prices, or a rotary sidewinder system which is available as an optional extra. The rotary system is efficient if your roman blinds are particulary large and are going to be heavy to pull up.

Roman Blind Linings

We have a choice of roman blind linings for you: our standard sateen, interlining and blackout.   All blinds need to be lined (except sheers) to preserve the fabric and to stop it from fading.

Blackout Lining – if your looking for a nice dark room to help you sleep (and not wake up in the mornings!) then blackout roman blinds are what you need, plus it can help keep the heat in more than a standard lining. (Please note you you might see small 'pin holes' of light along the rod pockets where the lining has had to be stitched to the fabric - this is normal).

Interlining – this can offer  luxury and cosiness to your roman blinds, having a fleecy lining in between your chosen fabric and outer lining will ‘pad’ the blind slightly making it fuller and more sumptuous - as well as blocking out those unwanted draughts.

Just ask our advice if unsure which choice to make.

Fitting Your Roman Blinds

Roman blinds are just so easy to fit – you don't need a specialised fitter! - all you need is a drill and a screwdriver. Full details are available on our fitting instructions page.
